Membership in WGRI

Join the Weavers Guild of Rhode Island

The Mission of WGRI is to study and promote the arts of hand weaving, spinning, dyeing and related activities, and to educate the membership and general public in these arts through meetings, workshops, demonstrations and exhibits.

Membership includes the right to vote at regular and annual meetings, and comes with the expectation of participation in Guild activities.

Our guild year runs from June 1 to May 31, with a break during July and August. Annual dues of $35 are payable at the June meeting.

Dues are pro-rated, however, after January 1, for first-time members, dues for the remainder of the guild year are $15.

We usually meet on the first Saturday of the month at the North Kingstown Free Library but check the Upcoming Programs for changes. Doors open at 9am; the meeting begins at 9:30 am. Everyone is welcome.

If you would like to join us, please print and fill out the form using the button below and bring it to a meeting or mail it with your check, payable to Weavers Guild of Rhode Island to:

If a speaker cancels and we cannot find a replacement, the meeting will be cancelled.

If the meeting is cancelled, an email will be sent to members by 8:00AM the day of the meeting.  Please check your email before you leave, especially if there is bad weather.  It will also be posted on the Welcome Page of the website.
